Jamie Spiess, of Husbands, Love Your Wives
Husbands, Love Your Wives is the acoustic folk project of singer Jamie Spiess and her drummer, Scott Rietherman. The Seattle-based duo is signed to Baskerville Hill Records, the promising upstart imprint that's also home to recent MLGF favorites like Throw Me The Statue (more on that later, promise!) and Black Bear. There's something childlike about Jamie's voice, which makes her sad, sad songs sound all the more haunting and lovely.
