I fell in love with Bella after hearing their most clap-tacular song, "Summer," off their 2004 album, Pretty Mess, but I hadn't heard much about them since then (the fact that their actual website is down certainly can't help). Well, the Canadian band's now signed to Mint Records and will release No One Will Know on September 18. "Give It A Night," the album's opener, is all I've heard so far, and it's a nice slice of swirling synth-driven indie pop, with boy-and-girl (would man-and-woman be more appropriate here?) harmonies and more of them hand claps I fell in love with in the first place. This should be a good one. Just telling you guys now -- I don't want the album's title to ring a little bit too true come September.
