Yeah, as if the New Pornographers need any more trumpeting... but damn if their new song, "Myriad Harbour," off the upcoming Challengers (out Aug. 22), isn't great. Now's a good time to check them out, if you are one of the few unconverted... til now! Peer pressure can be a good thing. If you don't want to miss out on one of the most happily hook-heavy good times in the scene today (this'll be their fourth album, and predictions say it'll be their fourth strong album), I guess you can Just Say No. The Canadian supergroup isn't even an extreme favorite of mine, and that doesn't stop me from listening to it a million times.
