Tres Chicas Tour Dates + New Songs

Been wondering what ex-Whiskeytown violinist Caitlin Cary's been up to lately? She's currently on tour with Tres Chicas, who released last year's underappreciated Bloom, Red & the Ordinary Girl (the band's second on Yep Roc). I'm a big fan of Cary's solo albums, but her work with Tres Chicas is a really nice change. The band plays clean, classic-sounding country, and each of the band's three ladies (Cary, Lynn Blakey and Tonya Lamm) contribute to the beautiful, beautiful harmonies. They're hitting the road this November, playing a bunch of new songs they've been working on (listen to 'em on MySpace). RIYL Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins (with less gimmick) or non-radio country/Americana in general.
